Our Pilates classes are held with fully qualified physiotherapists who have had specialist training in Pilates. This helps you to feel sure that you will gain the benefits you need from joining our Pilates classes. It is important to build a good technique from the beginning, then allowing you to progress with ease and confidence in to the higher level exercises. It is a form of exercise that starts with engaging the core muscles, these include the transversus abdominus, pelvic floor and diaphragm muscles and then build on this core contraction to add in resistance and load to strengthen the core and condition the body.



Pilates classes are available with numbers of up to 8 people, this is to ensure everyone gets one to one attention to ensure the correct exercise technique and progression. One to One Pilates is also available for those of you who prefer it to a class setting or have specific requirements.
