physiotherapy

Initial assessment and treatment consists of a verbal assessment initially, which entails your physiotherapist asking you a series of questions related to your injury, and how your work and activity affects it. They will also require some basic past medical history from you as well to ensure that we are treating you to the best of our ability relevant to your own specific needs. This will be followed by a full physical examination testing joint movements, muscles and nerves. Your Physiotherapist will then discuss the findings and diagnosis with you, and devise a personal treatment plan for you.

Treatment can consist of a range of different techniques that include joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue massage and myofascial release techniques, exercise prescription, acupuncture, and taping.
